Rats Roundup: Adult Learn to Play, Cats Heat Up at Worlds

Good morning and welcome to the latest addition of Rats Roundup!
The Cats are off to a hot start at World Championships, Adult Learn to Play launched and more! Sit back, relax and catch up on all the latest Panthers news!

World Championships

With the 2018 World Championships fully underway in Denmark, it didn't take long for the representatives from the Panthers to show off their skills.
Throughout the first slate of preliminary round games, Aaron Ekblad (CAN) Evgenii Dadonov (RUS), Maxim Mamin (RUS) and Harri Sateri (FIN) have all been bright spots for their respective squads.
Ditto for Bob Boughner, serving as an assistant coach for Team Canada, who currently sit tied with Team USA atop Group B with 10 points each.
Here is the schedule of games for the rest of the preliminary round:

Adult Learn to Play

On Thursday, the Panthers launched their Adult Learn to Play Program, designed for any participants ages 18+ to teach the game of ice hockey to adults at the beginner level.
The Cats have partnered with their local rinks to teach ice hockey to adults who may not have gotten the chance to play as adolescents.
The Florida Panthers aim to assist each participant in beginning their hockey playing careers, first through Adult Learn To Play and then onto one of South Florida's many adult leagues at varying skill levels.

While the Adult Learn to Play sessions have filled up, you can still hit the ice and join one of the Learn to Skate sessions being offered! Click HERE for more information and to sign up today!

Perfect Attendance

Stanley C. Panther has been traveling around to local schools, helping to award students who have garnered perfect attendance from kindergarten through the 12th grade. Let's be honest folks, that's a pretty big accomplishment.
