Russia is one of just four undefeated teams left through the first three games of the preliminary round, thanks in large part to Dadonov and Mamin, who have combined for seven points (three goals, four assists) in the early goings of the tournament.
Dadonov, 29, is currently tied for ninth in tournament scoring with five points (one goal, four assists), while Mamin, 23, scored twice in Russia's lopsided 6-0 win over Belarus on Monday.

With Boughner serving as an assistant coach and Ekblad playing big minutes on the blue line, Canada has also looked impressive at the Worlds, scoring the third-most goals and jumping out to an early 2-0-1 record at the tournament - good enough for third place in Group B.
Ekblad, 22, is currently tied for first in scoring among defensemen at the tournament with four points (one goal, three assists). He scored his first goal in Canada's 7-1 win over Denmark on Monday, blasting a long one-timer from beyond the circles past goaltender Sebastian Dahm.
