SUNRISE, Fla -The Florida Panthers announced today that they will host a book drive in conjunction with Children's Services Council of Broward County on Thursday, Jan. 26 when the Panthers host the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:30 p.m. The Children's Services Council of Broward County aims to raise awareness about children's literacy and make sure all local schools have enough resources for students.

Fans are encouraged to donate new or used books to the JetBlue Tarmac outside of the BB&T Center prior to the matchup between the Panthers and Lightning on Thursday, Jan. 26.

The Children's Services Council of Broward County was awarded a grant of $25,000 from the Florida Panthers Foundation, as part of the Community Champions Program, which recognizes and awards one grant for up to $25,000 to a local organization at each Panthers home game.

The Florida Panthers return home on Thursday, Jan. 26 when the Panthers host the Tampa Bay Lightning. Full and partial ticket packages are now available that include flexible payment plans.
