EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers have signed free agent defenceman Jason Garrison to a professional tryout (PTO).
Garrison, 33, appeared in eight games for the Vegas Golden Knights last season, posting one assist, four penalty minutes and a -2 plus-minus rating. He spent the balance of the 2017-18 season with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, where he posted 28 points (8G, 20A), 26 penalty minutes and a +8 plus-minus rating. Garrison added two points (2A) in three games for the Wolves in the playoffs.
