EDMONTON, AB - The NHL announced Wednesday the postponement of the Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks game originally scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Rogers Place.
The postponement is due to current attendance restrictions in Canadian cities including Edmonton and the game will be rescheduled for a new date later in the season.
The following eight Oilers games had been postponed previously:
- Monday, Dec. 20 - Anaheim @ Edmonton
- Wednesday, Dec. 22 - Edmonton @ Los Angeles
- Thursday, Dec. 23 - Edmonton @ San Jose
- Monday, Dec. 27 - Edmonton @ Calgary
- Saturday, Jan. 8 - NY Islanders @ Edmonton
- Wednesday, Jan. 12 - Minnesota @ Edmonton
- Friday, Jan. 14 - Vegas @ Edmonton
- Sunday, Jan. 16 - Edmonton @ Winnipeg
