EDMONTON, AB - Team Orange beat Team White by a score of 20-17 at the 2018 Oilers Skills Competition, presented by Rogers in front of a sold-out crowd of 18,347 people.

Some of the highlights include Connor McDavid winning fastest skater with a time of 13.744, Kris Russell being King of the Shootout, and Matt Benning winning Hardest Shot, clocking 101.5 miles per hour.

FASTEST SKATER

The team with fastest youth hockey skater was awarded one point, while the three fastest Oilers skaters are awarded points based on how they placed (1st - 3, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 1).

In the backwards skating, the team with the fastest skater was awarded one point, and the team with overall fastest average for the entire event (including backwards lap) was awarded one point.

BREAKAWAY CHALLENGE

Players traded chances on net, with the winner of youth skater fan vote being awarded one point. The winner of each Oilers shooter fan vote was awarded one point.

Maroon - Using football, backhand is denied... On second shot with a puck, fires into side of net
