The Oilers have executed an NHL Trade Deadline deal, exchanging forward Taylor Beck for Justin Fontaine, who has been playing for the New York Rangers American Hockey League affiliate this season.

The right winger has played 197 NHL games in his career, scoring 27 goals and adding 41 assists for 68 points, as well as recording 58 penalty minutes. All of Fontaine's NHL games came with the Minnesota Wild from 2013-2016.
His best NHL season came in 2013-14 when he scored 13 goals in 66 games.
Fontaine has appeared in 50 AHL games this season for the Hartford Wolf Pack, scoring nine goals and adding 21 assists.
Fontaine, 29, is a native of Bonnyville, AB. He played for the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL from 2004-2007.
