The Oilers have activated defenceman Darnell Nurse from Injured Reserve, the team announced. However, he will not play tonight in Washington, D.C.
Nurse has not played a game since December 1. He had successful surgery to repair ligament and bone damage in his ankle. Nurse had three goals and two assists in 25 games prior to his absence.
