LOS ANGELES, CA - What a difference two days can make.
On Friday night, the Oilers stormed into Crypto.com Arena and clobbered Los Angeles to the tune of an 8-2 decision, giving them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series.
Just 48 hours later, they were held off the scoresheet completely by Jonathan Quick and the Kings as the veteran netminder made 31 saves in a 4-0 shutout victory to even the series.
What started as a best-of-seven is now a best-of-three starting with Game 5 of the series on Tuesday night at Rogers Place, while Game 6 will be back in Los Angeles on Thursday.
