Boeser and Di Giuseppe were placed in NHL COVID-19 protocol Wednesday. ... Highmore, a forward, returned to practice Tuesday, but has not been cleared to play in games. ... The Ducks did not hold a morning skate Wednesday, but Lettieri and Robinson are expected to come off the taxi squad and enter the lineup. Larsson could also be activated to give Anaheim 11 forwards and seven defensemen, or forward Bryce Kindopp could make his NHL debut after he was added to the taxi squad Tuesday. ... Lundestrom will move from third-line center to the second line, and Lettieri will take Steel's spot on the top line. ... Henrique, a forward, remains out after being injured in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Calgary Flames on Dec. 3. Jones, a forward, and Mahura, a defenseman, have not resumed practice.
