Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews, the No. 1 pick of the 2016 NHL Draft, faces the No. 2 pick, Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine, for the first time in the NHL. "I think as players you don't really think about it too much," Matthews said. "It's not really a comparison. It's your team against theirs." Matthews, who scored four goals in his first NHL game, against the Ottawa Senators last Wednesday, said he can appreciate why there is a perceived rivalry between himself and Laine and the big stage their game Wednesday presents. "I think you have to enjoy that moment. But at the same time it's one of 80 more games we have to play," he said. "I don't think either side is making too much of it. We came here to get two points."
