"I think it was a great example kind of bend don't break," Bishop said. "There was a little bend there in that couple of minutes there where they got a couple of goals. But obviously we didn't break. We just kept going there and got another one. … Hopefully they can start rolling now."

Radulov put Dallas ahead 3-2 when he scored on the power play with 2:21 left.
"We talk about it, because right before the power play that we got to shoot the puck more and get in front of that goalie and be there and take his eyes away," Radulov said. "And that's basically what [Benn] did (with a screen)."
Radulov scored into the empty net to make it 4-2 with 1:39 remaining.
Benn tied the game 2-2 with 4:50 left when he stole the puck from Blues defenseman Joel Edmundson and beat goalie Jake Allen with a backhand.
"We rimmed the puck in and I tried to put some pressure on them," Benn said. "Found a way to get it back and kind of threw it at the net. It was pretty lucky to go in. I'm not sure what was happening in front, but it found a way and we'll take it."
Vladimir Tarasenko and Tage Thompson scored for the Blues (23-15-2), who have lost two games in a row and five of six.

Tarasenko tied it 1-1 when he beat Bishop with a wrist shot at 3:26 of the third period after forward Tyler Pitlick turned over the puck in the Stars zone. Thompson gave the Blues a 2-1 lead at 4:31 with a wrist shot from just inside the blue line.
Allen made 25 saves, and backup Carter Hutton stopped two shots in 9:34 in the third period. Allen was pulled from the game under NHL concussion protocol at 1:21 after he collided with Blues defenseman Colton Parayko, but he returned at 10:55.
Blues coach Mike Yeo said he shouldn't have put Allen back in the game after he was cleared to return.
"I think that looking back on that, that was a bad decision by me," Yeo said. "I think I put Jake and the team in a bad position there. It's disappointing for our group not to get a win here tonight. I think we actually played a [heck] of a game and a couple things that were out of their control."
Mattias Janmark gave Dallas a 1-0 lead when he scored at 3:49 of the second period. Jason Spezza made a no-look pass from the corner to set up Janmark.

They said it

"It's a long season. We always say if you get too excited about when things are going well, then you're going to be in trouble. … There's kind of a saying in our game that when things are going at their best, you're usually not quite that good, and when things are going their worst, you're definitely not that bad."-- Blues coach Mike Yeo on staying positive after going 1-5-0 in their past six games
"If you look at the standings before, and [coach Ken Hitchcock] mentioned that too, a month ago we were 12 points behind them and now we, before the game, Hitch let us know we're right there, with a game in hand. And we knew it would be huge for us, we knew that they'd been losing in a stretch, but it's all about us and winning together and confidence back." -- Stars forward Alexander Radulov on closing the gap on the Blues in the Central Division
