Gadjovich, a forward, is day to day after blocking a shot with the inside of his left foot at 3:08 of the first period in the Sharks' 2-1 overtime win at the New York Islanders on Thursday. … The Rangers recalled Barron from Hartford of the American Hockey League on Thursday but it's unclear if the forward will play. … Goodrow and Rooney each had a maintenance day and did not practice Thursday, and the Rangers didn't have a morning skate Friday. Goodrow needed stitches after taking a puck to the face in the third period of a 4-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. Coach Gerard Gallant said Goodrow is expected to play.
