Game No. 2 of a four-part home stand for the Predators gets underway tonight (at 7 p.m. CT) when they host the Avalanche.
Nashville (28-22-9) has beaten Colorado (16-39-3) four times this season and will look for a season sweep on Thursday evening. The Preds are 11-3-1 in their last 15 home games versus the Avalanche, and in their recent string of five-straight victories over them (dating back to last season), Nashville has averaged 4.2 goals per game.
After a day off on Wednesday, the Predators returned to the ice for a morning skate on Thursday. Forwards Cody McLeod (Injured Reserve; lower-body) and Miikka Salomaki (IR; lower-body) took part in the session.
