Shea Weber, 31, will be one of seven Montreal players to skate in his first home opener at Bell Centre, along with Mikhail Sergachev, and forwards Shaw, Alexander Radulov, Artturi Lehkonen and Phillip Danault. Weber was acquired June 29 in a trade with the Nashville Predators for P.K. Subban in what was the biggest trade of the offseason. Weber has one assist in each of the Canadiens' first two games. "I thought Shea, right from Day One, has come in, the presence that he brought to our locker room has helped us in so many areas, off the ice, on the ice, everywhere," Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher said after Weber's first game with the Canadiens. Sergachev, 18, the ninth pick of the 2016 NHL Draft, will have his parents on hand from Russia. "He's a good kid, and as soon as the puck drops it's game time so I don't even know how I would feel if I was his age," Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty said. "I definitely wouldn't handle it was well as he has and will. But it's a special time for him so it's exciting for a guy like that to get the opportunity to do what we're going to do tonight." Center Alex Galchenyuk was the most recent 18-year-old to play for the Canadiens prior to Sergachev, in 2012-13. "It was hard to come in as an 18-year-old and play in the best League, but I think the emotions and the energy you have, you've got to use that," said Galchenyuk, who was selected by the Canadiens with the third pick of the 2012 draft. Montoya will make his third straight start in goal while Price recovers from the flu.
