President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile and the Nashville Predators front office made a flurry of moves in a busy week leading up to Friday's NHL trade deadline.
The week saw the Preds pick up nine draft picks, three roster players and four prospects, in addition to signing two players to one-year contract extensions. Here is a summary of Nashville's major moves and signings:

Nino Niederreiter to Winnipeg Jets

Cap Hit: $4 million
Return: Second-round pick in 2024 NHL Draft
Breakdown: Niederreiter had 28 points (18g-10a) in 56 games with the Predators this season, his first with the organization. In exchange, the Predators receive the first of three newly acquired second-round picks in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Tanner Jeannot to Tampa Bay Lightning

Cap Hit: $800,000
Return: Fourth- and fifth-round picks in 2023 NHL Draft; second-round pick in 2024; first-round pick in 2025; Cal Foote
Breakdown: Following an impressive, 41-point rookie campaign in 2021-22, Jeannot had 14 points (5g-9a) in 58 games with Nashville this season. In return for the 25-year-old, who will be a restricted free agent after this season, the Preds gain significant draft capital and a roster player in Foote.
The 24-year-old was selected by Tampa Bay with the 14th overall selection (first round) in the 2017 NHL Draft. He has played in 117 NHL contests since his debut in the 2020-21 season, posting 15 points (4g-11a) and 86 penalty minutes, including 26 games, three points (1g-2a) and 28 penalty minutes in 2022-23.

Mattias Ekholm to Edmonton Oilers

Return: First-round pick in 2023 NHL Draft; second-round pick in 2024; Tyson Barrie, Reid Schaefer
Breakdown: Barrie, 31, is tied for 11th among NHL defensemen in points this season with 43 (10g-33a) in 61 games for the Oilers. The 5-foot-11, 197-pound blueliner has posted nine multi-point efforts and is coming off of a six-game point streak from Feb. 15-25 (3g-5a), his second of at least that many games this season. Barrie's 28 power-play points (4g-24a) are the most out of NHL players at his position, helping Edmonton own the League's best percentage on the man-advantage at 31.9 percent. Schaefer, 19, is skating in his fourth season with the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds in 2022-23 and sits tied for fourth on his team in goals (23) and sixth in points (47). The 6-foot-3, 215-pound forward is tied for fourth in the WHL in game-winning goals with a career-high seven and has scored four times on the power play after tallying nine such goals in 2021-22.

Mikael Granlund to Pittsburgh Penguins

Return:Second-round pick in 2023 NHL Draft
Breakdown: Granlund, 31, has two years left on his contract. He recorded 162 points (51g-111a) in 268 games with Nashville, including 36 points (9g-26a) in 59 games this season. With Pittsburgh's second-round pick, the Predators now own 13 selections in the 2023 NHL Draft, which will be hosted in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena on June 28-29 - one in the sixth round; two in the first, second and fifth rounds; and three in the third and fourth rounds.

Seventh-Round Pick in 2025 NHL Draft to Buffalo Sabres

Return:Rasmus Asplund
Breakdown:Asplund, 25, who is skating in his fourth NHL season, has eight points (2g-6a) in 27 games for the Sabres in 2022-23. He posted five of his points (1g-4a) in a five-game span from Oct. 20-Nov. 2, a stretch that included one of his two multi-point outings on the campaign. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound center has also dished out 10 hits and blocked eight shots this season in 11:20 of average ice time, with 1:08 of it coming on the penalty kill. In 2021-22, Asplund set career highs in games played (80), goals (8), assists (19) and points (27) while finishing in the top-20 of Selke Trophy voting, an award given to the NHL's top defensive forward.

Future Considerations to Philadelphia Flyers

Return:Isaac Ratcliffe
Breakdown: Ratcliffe, was selected 35th overall (second round) in the 2017 NHL Draft and has appeared in 10 games for the Flyers, posting four points (1g-3a) and 162 games for their AHL developmental affiliate, Lehigh Valley, amassing 56 points (22g-34a). Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot-6, 201-pound native of London, Ont., spent three seasons with the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm, accumulating 217 points (124g-93a) in 245 games. During his final OHL season in 2018-19, he captained the Storm to an OHL Championship, being named to the OHL Third All-Star Team, the Memorial Cup All-Star Team and the recipient of the Mickey Renaud Captains Trophy. Since joining the Predators organization, Ratcliffe has two points (1g-1a) in two games with the AHL's Milwaukee.

Return:Austin Rueschhoff
Breakdown:Rueschhoff, has recorded 11 points (2g-9a) in 31 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' AHL affiliate. It is the 6-foot-7, 242-pound right wing's third professional season, all coming with Hartford, in which he's tallied 43 points (20g-23a) and 92 penalty minutes in 113 contests. Last season, Rueschhoff established career highs in several categories, including games played (59), goals (14), assists (10) and points (24). Since joining the Predators organization, the 25-year-old has already tallied one goal in two games with Milwaukee.

Signed Dante Fabbro to One-Year, $2.5 Million Contract

Breakdown: Fabbro, 24, has eight points (1g-7a) and a +3 rating in 56 games for Nashville this season, his fourth as a full-time NHLer. He has also dished out a career-high 71 hits, the second-most among Predators defensemen, six of which came on Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh, his most in a game this season. Fabbro has skated in 230 career games since making his NHL debut with the Predators in 2018-19, and last season, he set career highs in nearly every category, including games played (66), assists (21), points (24) and plus-minus (+13).

Signed Kevin Lankinen to One-Year, $2 Million Contract

Breakdown:Lankinen, 27, stopped 30 of 31 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win at Florida to improve his record to 7-5-1 in 14 appearances this season, his first with Nashville. Among NHL goalies who have played in at least 14 games in 2022-23, he is tied for fifth in save percentage (.922) and 16th in goals-against average (2.58). The 6-foot-2, 185-pound goaltender has won four of his last five starts (4-1-0) and has made at least 30 saves on nine occasions this season.

Recapping Nashville's Moves Before the Trade Deadline
