The Ducks are one point behind the Los Angeles Kings in the division with three games remaining. They occupy the first wild-card spot from the Western Conference, two points ahead of the Colorado Avalanche and three ahead of the St. Louis Blues.
If the Ducks win and the Blues lose to the Chicago Blackhawks in any fashion Wednesday, Anaheim will clinch a postseason berth for the sixth straight season.
The Wild clinched third place in the Central Division on Monday and qualified for the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.

Status report

Fowler sustained a shoulder injury in a 4-3 overtime win against the Avalanche on Sunday and will miss 2-6 weeks. Gibson left the game with an upper-body injury and won't play. ... Minnesota coach Bruce Boudreau said he plans to have Greenway in the lineup in the final three games. … Welinski likely will be in the lineup for Fowler and play his fifth NHL game.
