Hall scored his second goal of the game at 12:21 of the third period for the first two-goal lead of the game at 5-3.
Slafkovsky scored at 16:57 to draw cut it to 5-4, but Andrei Svechnikov scored into an empty net with 1:16 remaining for the 6-4 final.
Montreal was outshot 12-6 in the first, but scored on three of its shots to take two of the three one-goal leads generated during a five-goal opening period.
Hall put Carolina up 1-0 at 2:25 of the first when he got to his feet in the goalmouth behind Dobes and redirected a spin-around wrist shot by Jackson Blake.
Bolduc tied it 1-1 at 3:23 with a backhand over Bussi’s left pad, retrieving a rebound of Phillip Danault’s deflection of a wrist shot by Texier from the top of the slot.
Suzuki gave the Canadiens a 2-1 lead at 4:27. He one-timed a pass from Kreider and snapped a wrist shot past Bussi’s blocker for the third goal in a span of 2:02.
Robinson tied it 2-2 at 9:22 when he deflected Jaden Chatfield’s shot from the point past Dobes.
Bolduc’s second goal of the period then put Montreal up 3-2 at 12:54.
The Canadiens were without forward Ivan Demidov. Last season’s runner-up for the Calder Trophy is out 2-4 weeks with a lower-body injury.
