After his second season with KalPa in Liiga, Finland's top pro league, Texier arrived in North America and had seven points (five goals, two assists) in seven games with Cleveland of the American Hockey League. He earned a promotion to the Blue Jackets and made his NHL debut on April 5, 2019.
