The Boston Bruins won three in a row before a 5-2 loss to the New York Rangers on Saturday. The power play went 0-for-3 and surrendered two shorthanded goals, and is 29th in the NHL at 7.9 percent (3-for-38). While preparing to face the Sabres and their 13th-ranked penalty kill (82.8 percent), the Bruins worked a little extra on their power play in their morning skate at Warrior Ice Arena on Monday. "I think our players have to see the seams and have to see the plays quicker and better than they have so far," coach Claude Julien said. "We're slow reacting, we're not seeing the seams, we're not seeing the shots, and so we got to keep working on it and that's what we tried to do this morning."
