As Patrick Kane closed in on 1,000 career points with his 999th mark on Saturday night in Toronto, he went back to where it all started.
On Friday night, Kane, his family, Blackhawks staff and players ventured to London, Ontario, where the London Knights retired No. 88 in recognition of Kane's 145-point campaign in just 58 games during the 2006-07 season.

Kane became the first player to have his number retired by the Knights after playing just one season, making the jump to the Blackhawks the following year after going No. 1 overall in the 2007 NHL Draft.
