Desjardins will coach the rest of the season after John Stevens was fired Sunday. Desjardins went 109-110-27 in three seasons as coach of the Vancouver Canucks from 2014-17. The Kings have lost seven of their past nine but defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 on Saturday in Stevens' final game as coach. The Ducks are 1-5-2 in their past eight games after ending a seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 overtime win against the Blue Jackets on Sunday.
