IT'S DONE
The Jets stuck together through a challenging stretch of the schedule, and it has paid off after clinching the final wild card spot in the Western Conference with that 3-1 win in St. Paul on Tuesday. The emotional win over Minnesota showcased how tight of a group the team is as they stuck up for one another when things got out of hand in the third period. There is one game left in the regular season schedule and the Jets will close it out in Denver against the Avalanche. Colorado will dress their full lineup as they hope to lock down home ice advantage in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and they still have a shot at taking the Central Division title with two games remaining.

LINEUP CHANGES
Since the most important game for Winnipeg will be game one of the postseason next week, Rick Bowness has made some changes to his lineup for the regular season finale. Sitting out tonight will be Nikolaj Ehlers, Mark Scheifele, Blake Wheeler, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Nate Schmidt and Josh Morrissey. Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, David Gustafsson, Karson Kuhlman, Kyle Capobianco and Logan Stanley will come into the lineup. On top of that, Dominic Toninato has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose and will play his fifth game of the season. Connor Hellebuyck will also take a well-deserved rest and that means David Rittich will get his first start in goal since March 14th, a 5-3 loss in Raleigh to the Carolina Hurricanes.
GREAT ATTITUDE
The Jets were going to have at least four call-ups for the game tonight, but Neal Pionk, Brendan Dillon, Kyle Connor and Adam Lowry all wanted to play in game 82 of the season. Dominic Toninato turned out to be the lone call-up and this will be his fifth game in a Jets uniform in 2022-23. Toninato was reassigned in November and has been a huge part of the Manitoba Moose clinching a playoff berth both on and off the ice. He has 33 points in 49 games in the American Hockey League this season.
