NEW YORK (October 7, 2026) – The National Hockey League (NHL) and Fanatics, the League’s authentic on-ice outfitter, today unveiled the uniforms to be worn in the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic between the Winnipeg Jets and Montréal Canadiens at Winnipeg’s Princess Auto Stadium on Sunday, October 25 (7 p.m. ET, SN, TVAS, TNT, truTV, HBO MAX). After three-seasons away, this marquee event makes its highly anticipated return, carrying on its tradition of honoring Canada’s deep-rooted connection to outdoor hockey.
The uniforms were designed by Fanatics with collaboration from both teams and the NHL.
The Jets’ NHL Heritage Classic uniform pays homage to the franchise’s classic look of the 1980s and 1990s presented in white to complement the team’s current navy alternate jersey. The crest is rendered in felt with chain-stitched detailing, and the back numbers carry the same two-layer felt treatment. An all-new streaking jet graphic frames the event name on the hem while the loop label replicates the jet-in-a-circle design from the team’s pants.
The Canadiens’ NHL Heritage Classic uniform draws on multiple design details from throughout the team’s storied jersey history, with the classic red and blue team colors alongside a vintage off-white. For the first time ever, “Les Habitants” appears in the back collar, a nod to the franchise’s iconic nickname, while the loop label features a fleur-de-lis for the province of Québec. The classic CH crest has been redrawn to echo styles of the past and rendered in felt with running-stitch detailing.
The jerseys and additional NHL Heritage Classic merchandise including team apparel, headwear and hardgoods are available beginning today at Fanatics.com, NHLShop.com, the online and physical stores for both teams and the NHL Shop NYC flagship store, with broader retail launch set for October 8.
A limited number of tickets to the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic are available here via Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner of the NHL, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Ticketmaster is the official marketplace of the NHL, providing fans with peace of mind in knowing the seats they buy on Ticketmaster.com and the Ticketmaster app are the seats they’ll get.
The Oct. 25 game marks the Jets’ third outdoor contest, having previously faced the Calgary Flames in the 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at Mosaic Stadium in Regina and the Edmonton Oilers in the 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at Princess Auto Stadium.
The Canadiens are set to skate in their fifth outdoor game, and their first since 2017, with a record of 2-2-0 in outdoor regular season contests. A complete history of NHL regular-season outdoor games can be found here.
