CALGARY -If the city of Vancouver has been friendly to the Winnipeg Jets, Calgary has been the exact opposite.
Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Canucks pushed Winnipeg's winning streak at Rogers Arena to eight straight. However, in their last eight at Scotiabank Saddledome, the Jets have won just once.
The Jets (20-11-2) look to get that trend moving in a different direction tonight as they begin a three-game series with the Flames to close out a seven-game road trip.
It's the first time the Jets have played in Calgary since Feb. 9, and forward Trevor Lewis feels the team has grown a lot since then.
"We've got four good lines that can play against anyone," said Lewis after Friday's morning skate. "I think when we play like we have been playing the right way in all three zones, we have the skill to put the puck in the net, too, so with Bucky back there making the big stops and everyone sticking to game plan, we're a really good team."

A victory tonight would pull the Jets into a tie with the Toronto Maple Leafs for top spot in the North Division.
It would also be the third time this season that the team has put together a win streak of at least three games.
A win streak is the exact response the Jets want after they opened the road trip with consecutive regulation losses - something they hadn't had on their record all season.
"To bounce back with two hard games against a team that competed well and played well, I think says a lot about our group," said Pierre-Luc Dubois. "Each season, you're going to go through adversity and I think it just helps you for later on in the season and in the playoffs."
This three-game set against the Flames is the fourth of five three-game series the Jets have on their schedule this season.
While a regular NHL schedule allows for teams to assess themselves in five or seven-game blocks, Jets head coach Paul Maurice says all the individual series create an opportunity to evaluate certain aspects of a team's game in a smaller package.
"It will be puck speed tonight, how fast we move the thing - our feet, or the puck - we've got to move quickly in here, we have to use ice in behind this team," said Maurice, adding that the Toronto series was all about slot chances, Edmonton was about playing against the rush, while Vancouver was more about handling the opposition's forecheck.
"The opponent is going to be able to bring a strength - everyone has a strength - you need to learn how to handle that strength and play your game," said Maurice. "You either succeed or fail based on how that series goes. We've been pretty good in the series so far. I think there is a really good opportunity to build your team in this kind of format."
Connor Hellebuyck will get his league-leading 27th start of the season. He's 15-9-2 this season with a 0.916 save percentage, and comes into the game having 60 of the last 61 shots that have come his way.
"He's feeling strong and is wanting the game," Maurice said of Hellebuyck, saying the Laurent Brossoit will handle the second half of the back-to-back tomorrow night.
"LB has expertise in that game - not skating the morning skate and going into play. He's good at it," Maurice said. "We're kind of in that three or four-game block idea with Connor Hellebuyck. Then it's volume."

In front of him, the Jets will go with the same line-up as the one that produced two wins in Vancouver:
Stastny-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Dubois-Ehlers
Copp-Lowry-Appleton
Perreault-Thompson-Lewis
Morrissey-Poolman
Forbort-Pionk
Stanley-DeMelo
The Flames (15-16-3) will make an adjustment to their line-up tonight. Elias Lindholm, who had been the second line centre, will move up to the right wing alongside Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan.
Jacob Markstrom will get the call in goal for the Flames. It will be Markstrom's 10th start in Calgary's last 11 games as they try to snap a three-game losing streak.
The Flames are 4-4-0 since new head coach Darryl Sutter made his debut behind the team's bench on Mar. 12.
Lewis had Sutter as a coach in Los Angeles from 2011 until the end of the 2016-17 season. Just from that experience, he has an idea of what to expect from the Flames tonight.
"I believe this would be the first game I've played against him. I'm not positive but I believe it is. I feel like everyone (on the Flames) is going to play the same way, lines one through four," said Lewis. "They're going to come out and everyone's going to play heavy, no matter if they're a skill guy or a checker or whatever. It's definitely going to be a tough game."
Puck drop is set for 9 pm CT.
