SUTTER'S THOUGHTS ON THE GAME:

ON HUBERDEAU'S TYING GOAL:

"He missed the penalty shot and that can probably go the other way with your game, but he didn't. He got better.
"He's got to be a clutch player for us. What does it mean? He could have a lot of them. But I give him credit for hanging in there tonight."

ON THE CHARACTER THIS WIN SHOWS:

"You've got to do it. We know why and where we're at and we know how we got there, but we're not letting somebody else distract us or anything outside the room distract you."

HUBERDEAU ON HOW IT PLAYED OUT:

"It was important. We had a lot of shots on net, the goalie was playing well. It was just good to come back after two periods. I don't think we had one. At this time of year, it's really important.
"We know we needed that win. We stuck with it. After the second period, we didn't panic. We knew we were playing well and were getting chances, so just stuck with it and came out with a huge two points, finally, in OT."

ON HIS TYING GOAL:

"I wanted to score that (penalty shot) goal. I didn't, but stuck with it and a huge goal at the end, powerplay, much-needed. Sent it to overtime and Toff did the rest."

ON THE PLAYOFF RACE:

"We knew they won, but as I've said before, we know they're going to win some games. It's more about us to win our games and we know we have a game coming up against them, so keep winning and that game is going to be important."

STECHER ON THE BIG WIN:

"I think it speaks volumes to the character we have in this room. We touched on it in the intermission. We didn't play well against San Jose at home and found a way to win. Tonight, it seemed every time we scored, we took a step backward. It's not something you want to do, but at the end of the day, you find a way to get two points and stay in the hunt."

ON HIS FIRST THOUGHT AFTER TOFFOLI WON IT:

"No idea, man. Just happy we won. I was pumped. ... Obviously, (Toffoli), Tanny and Marky didn't get re-signed here at the same time and obviously we're good friends, I've followed along with their careers and Toff's had a lot of success against Vancouver and continues it tonight."

TOFFOLI ON THE DIFFERENCE TONIGHT:

"I feel like it's been happening for a few games now - Marky making big saves at the right time and us being able to score big goals. Credit to Marky, Huby, Colesy - we all stepped up and did the right things and came out with the win."

ON WHAT HE THOUGHT ABOUT HIS GWG:

"I love it (smiles)."

ON STAYING WITHIN TWO POINTS OF THE JETS:

"I think we've said it, we need to win every single night. Obviously, it feels good but at the same time, we have to move on. We have to win the next one. Take it game by game, obviously enjoy it, flight home and get back to work."
