Nazem Kadri on tonight's South Asian Celebration:

"It means a lot, of course, bringing diversity and inclusion into hockey. This is another way to do that, using our platform, I think, is great. Obviously a beautiful design, it’s pretty cool to see."

On instilling a hard-working mentality on younger players:

"I think it’s important, the mentality you have going into a hockey game. Regardless of where you are in the standings, whether you’re in a playoff spot, or on the bubble, in the playoffs I think you approach every game the same way, your approach shouldn’t change. We’re obviously going to try to preach that to them, you’ve got to continue to bring your best and have some pride."

"Continue to bring your best and have some pride"

Matt Coronato on learning from older players:

"I think you watch guys, like a guy like Backs who just does everything the right way, you watch how he goes about pre-game, stretching, how he eats, all those kinds of things. Just watching is a huge thing."

On trying to generate more offence:

"It’s important for me to get pucks on net, definitely. There’s a right time for it, a right place for it, you’ve got to find that but I think an important thing I need to do is find the open ice. That’s something I’ve been working on, obviously when you get a chance on the powerplay there’s a little more space, so just definitely look to find some open ice."

Head Coach Ryan Huska on tonight's South Asian Celebration:

"I think our organization does a great job of celebrating all different types of things, and this is no different, so the inclusion and that everybody is a part of things is what this organization is all about, which is pretty cool. I think the second thing, for me, is the design is awesome, it’s cool. I’m assuming these will be a hot commodity."

On the mentality he wants to see from younger players:

"I don’t think it changes from the beginning of the year, they have to learn to play the game hard and play every game like it’s the last one they may play. That should be your mentality all the time, whether you’re in Game 1 of the regular season, or Game 82, if you’re in the playoffs or out of the playoffs. If you don’t play with that mindset, then you’re not going to improve, and people will pass you by eventually. They need to make sure they’re ready to go all the time."
