GLENDALE -Head coach Glen Gulutzan has confirmed Jon Gillies will get the start this evening when the Flames battle the Arizona Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. MT.
"Regardless of what happened last night or two nights ago or whatever it was, he was going to get a game here," Gulutzan said after the team meeting in Arizona. "He almost got the game in Boston - we kicked around that game, we kicked around a few games - but we knew this back-to-back road trip was coming. We wanted to get him for sure."
While the rest of his lineup isn't fully set, Gulutzan did note he will likely run the same lines and defence pairings from last night's game in Las Vegas.
