DETROIT - The Canadiens are looking to snap a three-game winless streak as they make a quick visit to Detroit to take on the Red Wings on Tuesday.

Here's what you need to know ahead of the game:
1. After a strong start to their four-game road trip late last month, the Canadiens are looking to get back into the win column after suffering three losses in a row. Most recently, they lost 6-4 to the Vegas Golden Knights at the Bell Centre on Saturday in their first game back from the voyage. Cole Caufield enjoyed a two-point night (1G, 1A), while Nick Suzuki scored twice and Juraj Slafkovsky got his third of the season in the loss to Vegas. Kirby Dach (3A) and Kaiden Guhle (2A) also enjoyed multi-point nights for the Habs against the Knights, while Jake Allen turned aside 36 shots.

2. The Caufield-Suzuki-Dach line has been red-hot of late. Since head coach Martin St-Louis put them together for the October 29 game in St. Louis, the trio have combined for 22 points (9G, 13A) in four contests. Suzuki and Caufield were named co-winners of the Molson Cup for October. Caufield led the team with seven goals last month, which was also tied for fourth-best in the NHL. For his part, Suzuki was tops on Montreal with six assists in October, including the 100th of his career which he recorded in the win over the Blues.

3. The Habs practiced at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard on Monday before departing for Detroit. St-Louis shuffled up his lines at the skate, but he had to adjust as a result of Christian Dvorak taking a maintenance day. Rem Pitlick also didn't skate, as he was placed on waivers on Monday afternoon. On the backend, Jordan Harris was back with Johnathan Kovacevic after the rookie was paired up with Joel Edmundson against Vegas. Montreal will have to do without forward Josh Anderson, however, as the winger will be serving the first of his two-game suspension for boarding. St-Louis confirmed on Monday that Allen would get the start in goal.
4. The Red Wings are coming into Tuesday's contest on a hot streak. They've won three straight, with their most recent victory coming in overtime on Sunday night against the Rangers in New York. Matt Luff and Pius Suter scored for Detroit in regulation, while Dominik Kubalik netted the overtime winner with his sixth of the season. Kubalik and Dylan Larkin are tied for the team lead in goals (6), assists (9), and points (15). David Perron is next on the Wings' points list with eight (5G, 3A), followed by Adam Erne and Filip Hronek at seven apiece. This is the second of four meetings between the two teams, with the Wings taking the first one 3-0 on October 14. They'll meet again at the Bell Centre on January 26 before closing out the season series on April 4.
5. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. You can watch all the action on TSN2 and RDS on television, or listen in on TSN 690 and 98,5 fm on the radio.
