"It was pretty quick after, actually," Lindholm said when asked when he started feeling better. "Luckily, I'm in good enough shape to take it in a good way and luckily I didn't take it worse…I'm just excited to be back in the lineup and play some hockey.
"This time of year, you want to be out there. I would probably rank myself as the worst guy watching hockey. It's not fun sitting in the stands or watching from home on the TV. I'm glad to be out there."
With Lindholm back in the mix, Matt Grzelcyk will be a healthy scratch and Mike Reilly will pair with Brandon Carlo. Lindholm, meanwhile, will skate alongside Charlie McAvoy on Boston's top pairing.
"Grizz is playing through a little bit of stuff, we know that. He has been throughout the year," Cassidy said of the decision to scratch Grzelcyk. "We've given him certain nights to recover and we just feel that now is one of those times that we're gonna do that again."
Up front, Trent Frederic will be back in his familiar third-line left wing spot alongside Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith. Chris Wagner will be a healthy scratch as Tomas Nosek shifts back down to center the fourth line between Nick Foligno and Curtis Lazar, while David Pastrnak moves down to play with Taylor Hall and Erik Haula, and Jake DeBrusk bumps back up to the top line with Bergeron and Marchand.
"That's just going back to what we were successful for the second half of the year, how we started the series, essentially," said Cassidy. "We made an adjustment in Game 3 we felt we needed to make. But we always felt we'd like to get back to when we were playing our best hockey.
"Started a little bit in Game 5, you could see that we were going to have to move some pieces around again. We're gonna do it from the start tonight and we'll see how it goes. We know we can shuffle pieces but that's how we're doing it tonight."
Cassidy did say that depending on how the game is playing out, he could toggle with the lines, particularly moving Pastrnak back up with Marchand and Bergeron, if the situation calls for that kind of adjustment.
"The game dictates that," said Cassidy. "I think there's certainly opportunities. Game 3 they came together, March hadn't scored in a bit and they found their mojo a little bit. But it also bleeds into the power play for them. It really helped. And some faceoff plays.
"We know what they're capable of and certainly there may be moments we have to go to that. It does take away from the other lines so we have to be mindful of that…hopefully everyone's going and you don't have to do that stuff."
