The 5th Annual TBO14 Golf Tournament took place on July 20th, 2026 at Northern Spy Golf Course. In September 2021, Jake suffered a spinal cord injury in a hockey tournament that left him paralyzed from the chest down. Since then, his motto has been “No Quit!” as he works tirelessly to get stronger and live life to the fullest. Participants enjoyed a beautiful day of golfing followed by food, a raffle, and silent auction to raise funds for Jake and his spinal cord recovery. The 46th Annual Pan Mass Challenge took place August 1-2, 2026, and was the Boston Bruins Foundation's 21st year supporting a team. This year we had 33 riders representing the spoked B and riding for our new PMC Pedal Partner, Stella, her family, and everyone else contributing towards the fight against cancer. All 33 of our riders crossed the finish line and have raised over $252,000 to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute so far. Our Boston Bruins Foundation team hit the road on April 20th, 2026 for the 130th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. We had 10 runners representing the Spoked-B this year and all 10 of them crossed the iconic finish line on Boylston Street. In addition to finishing the marathon, the team raised over $125,000 for the Boston Bruins Foundation!

The annual Boston Bruins Black & Gold Gala was held on March 3rd, 2026, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston. The event brought together current and former Boston Bruins players and supporters of the Boston Bruins Foundation to recognize the accomplishments of the Boston Bruins Foundation in the first responder community as well as our 2026 Milano Cortina Olympians. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the event raised over $1 million benefitting the Boston Bruins Foundation!

The first annual Thomas E. Smith Courage Cup, powered by the Boston Bruins Foundation, took place at TD Garden on September 29th, 2025. Four teams coached by Bob Sweeney, Zdeno Chara, Andrew Raycroft, and Ray Bourque took to the ice to raise money for paralysis research. The day was filled with competitive games and comradery that raised over $250,000 for paralysis research.

Each year, the wives, girlfriends, and families of the Boston Bruins players decorate small trees with their player's favorite things. These trees include signed jerseys, gift cards, Bruins ornaments, purses, colognes, and more. This year, the Festival of Trees raised $23,462 to benefit Cradles to Crayons. Stay tuned for our next Festival of Trees in December 2026.

The 9^th annual Bowl with a Bruin tournament took place on September 15^th, 2024, at Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury. Boston Bruins Alumni, sponsors, friends, and guests were able to reminisce and enjoy bowling matches. People could also participate in the raffle, silent auction, and live auctions. It was a great day of bowling and we were able to raise $100,000!

The Boston Bruins Foundation hosted the 22nd Annual Boston Bruins Golf Tournament presented by TD Bank on September 9th, 2025. Current players, coaches, alumni, sponsors, and friends came together for a great day of golf and fundraising. We were also honored to once again have Special Olympics of Massachusetts at the tournament with their athletes using their skills to hit drives and sink putts for select foursomes. Tom Smith of the Thomas E. Smith Foundation was also honored with the Trophy of the Year for his dedication and service to the spinal cord community in New England

The 6th Annual AJ's Army Golf Tournament at Kirkbrae Country Club took place on June 29th, 2026. The mission of AJ’s Army is to help provide the long term financial and emotional support to the Quetta Family, as AJ focuses on his recovery from a severe spinal cord injury sustained in 2021 while playing hockey for the Bishop Feehan High School (Attleboro, MA) varsity hockey team. All proceeds that are collected through golfing, purchasing raffle tickets, and participating in the silent and live auctions go to support AJ's recovery efforts through the Thomas E. The 10th annual BFit Challenge powered by National Grid took place on January 25th, 2026. Our tenth anniversary was capped off with over 2,400 participatns supporting 26 different first responder and military charities. This year we raised over $1.44 million, making it our largest fundraising year yet. To date, the BFit Challenge has raised over $6.3 million for first responder charities. The 8th Annual BFit Heroes Cup presented by Wellpoint was held at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA from June 5th to June 7th. This tournament is a weekend-long event designed to bring firefighters, police officers, EMS, and military members across the country together to raise money for multiple charities surrounding their professions and mental health. This year, 90 teams participated for the opportunity to win additional money for the charity of their choice, raising over $368,000. 11 teams were crowned champion of their respective division, and an extra $1,000 was awarded to a charity of their choice along with their name being added to the Heroes Cup. This year's tournament featured an All-Star Game for top fundraisers and Boston Bruins Alumni Andrew Raycroft, Ken Hodge Jr., and Chris Kelly. On November 20th, 2024, The Boston Bruins Foundation, David Pastrnak, and 98.5 The Sports Hub teamed up for the 5th Annual Pucks and Paddles presented by Connection at Citizens House of Blues Boston. VIP attendees enjoyed a pre-event meet & greet with members of the team, followed by a ceremonial ping pong game and tournament involving players from the active Bruins roster, Special Olympics of MA athletes, and 98.5 The Sports Hub on-air talent. Over $110,000 was raised and all proceeds benefitted the Boston Bruins Foundation and Special Olympics of MA.
