Bruins Make Their Super Bowl Picks

BOSTON - Following the Bruins tilt against the Capitals, the team will fly home just in time to catch their football brethren New England Patriots face off with the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. Some of the Black & Gold had some messages and predictions for Super Bowl LIII.

Bruce Cassidy

"I don't need to send them any messages, those guys take care of business all on their own. Other than good luck, go get them. They've made the city proud and I'm sure they will again tomorrow…I thought they were going to have a tough time with Kansas City. They did but they got through it, but I thought if they were going to lose it was going to be against Kansas City. I think it's tough on LA too. Inexperience, I think that matters in these things. [
Prediction: "[The Patriots have] been through it so often, the timing of the game, the timeouts, the length in-between, well prepared. I like the Pats to bring it home again.
"I think it will be close. I think it will be in the 30-31 to 24-25. There's always a goofy number in the super bowl it seems lately. So how about 31-25, how's that sound?"

Jake DeBrusk

"Good luck and do what you do. I think I have the most faith in them and every time I've watched them they've won. I think it's one of those things that like I said earlier, just good luck and enjoy the moment and obviously some guys have been there before and do your thing."
Prediction: Can't give you a score but definitely a Pats win.

Sean Kuraly

"Yeah it's exciting, we get to see with the Red Sox and now with another one here with the Patriots we're watching last game and had some fun watching that and we'll be definitely watching on Sunday.
"Best of luck. Just keep doing what they're doing, it seems to be working."
Prediction: "My prediction is, I don't have a score prediction is but I think we're going to win."

Zdeno Chara

"Obviously it's a big game. The biggest one in the season for them. Absolutely we're going to be cheering them on after our game. Wishing them best of luck and hopefully - we believe that they'll get it done."
Prediction: "I don't really care as long as it's more points for Pats at the end of the game."

Brad Marchand

"It's exciting every year. Makes it easy to bet on them. It's always a lot of fun to have a local team playing for a championship. It's always a lot more fun watching and exciting time around the city. It'll be a lot of fun tomorrow."

Prediction: 21-14 Pats.

"Really excited to watch you guys play in that game. It's been a great honor to be here the last couple years and see you guys in the super bowl. Really looking forward to hopefully a W and good luck to those guys."
Prediction: "Pats are going to come in hot. I'm going to say Pats somewhere in the 40's, Rams somewhere in the 20s."
