As they begin a stretch of four games in the next six days on the road, the St. Louis Blues opted for rest rather than practice before Wednesday's matchup with the Anaheim Ducks (8:30 p.m. CT, NBCSN, 101 ESPN).
"Rest is going to be a huge thing, and I think we've been monitoring it pretty good and doing a good job," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said after Tuesday's team practice at Honda Center. "Our players have been good about telling us how we're feeling and what's going on. You've got to go to your leaders, get feedback from them. We have to stay on top of it because the schedule is only getting tougher."

With no morning skate, we're not sure whether Berube will make any lineup changes for Wednesday's game. We do know that Vladimir Tarasenko will not make his return yet, but Berube said he still expects him to play on the road trip.
"He's been getting pushed everyday with contact. He's feeling good," Berube said of Tarasenko. "I think when he's ready to go, he's ready to go… He's done everything, he's worked out hard, he's trained, he's in good shape, he's practiced hard. He's done all that stuff. It's about playing games now."
Tuesday's team practice featured the same forward lines and defense pairs, so for now, we will assume the lineup will remain unchanged.
