DETROIT - Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo says the Blues will need a hard and heavy game in today's matchup with the Detroit Red Wings (noon CT, FSMW, FSGO, KMOX).
"I don't think we should prepare for their reocrd," Yeo said of the Red Wings. "You look at their roster and they've got speed, they've got skill. We should prepare for the type of game we saw against Winnipeg [a 5-1 Detroit victory] as far as they can counter, create offense off the rush and in the offensive zone. We're going to have to be real strong and real hard and heavy in this game." The only lineup change will be Sammy Blais taking Chris Thorburn's spot. Blais will join Patrik Berglund's line and Dmitrij Jaskin will shift down to the fourth line.
