ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has acquired Toronto's 2023 first-round pick and 2024 second-round pick, along with Ottawa's 2023 third-round pick, and forwards Mikhail Abramov and Adam Gaudette from the Maple Leafs in exchange for forwards Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari.

Abramov, 21, was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the fourth round, 115th overall, of the 2019 NHL Draft. This season, the Moscow, Russia, native has dressed in 33 games for the AHL's Toronto Marlies, tallying 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) and two penalty minutes. Overall, in 99 career AHL games, the 6-foot, 172-pound forward has collected 44 points (13 goals, 31 assists) and 22 penalty minutes.
Gaudette, 26, was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round, 149th overall, of the 2015 NHL Draft. This season, the Braintree, Massachusetts, native has dressed in 39 games for the Marlies, recording 33 points (20 goals, 13 assists) and 47 penalty minutes. Overall, the 6-foot, 194-pound forward has appeared in 218 career NHL regular-season games, including stints with Vancouver, Chicago and Ottawa, posting 70 points (27 goals, 43 assists) and 84 penalty minutes.

Doug Armstrong on O'Reilly, Acciari trade

O'Reilly, 32, was acquired by the Blues via trade from the Buffalo Sabres on July 1, 2018. Across five seasons with the Blues, the Clinton, Ontario, native tallied 269 points (97 goals, 172 assists) and 62 penalty minutes in 327 regular-season games. He also collected 49 points (19 goals, 30 assists) in 51 postseason games. Overall, O'Reilly has complied 691 points (252 goals, 439 assists) and 146 penalty minutes in 978 career NHL regular-season games.
Acciari, 31, was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 13, 2022. As a Blue, the Johnston, Rhode Island, native tallied 18 points (10 goals, 8 assists) and 10 penalty minutes in 54 games. Overall, Acciari has accumulated 95 points (55 goals, 40 assists) and 131 penalty minutes in 361 career NHL regular-season games across eight seasons.
