ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has signed five-year-old Hank Walker to a one-day contract.
Hank, who asked Make-A-Wish if he could play hockey with Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly back in 2020, signed the deal on Friday so his wish could be granted.

Before he was born, Hank was diagnosed with posterior urethral valves, a condition where obstructive membranes develop that block the flow of urine from the bladder. The condition damaged his kidneys and required a transplant, but Hank is doing well now.

Through his connection to Make-A-Wish, Hank met Blues players, dressed in full hockey gear, and skated with O'Reilly after practice on Friday at Centene Community Ice Center. Hank will also attend Saturday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.
