While the Blackhawks were able to remain competitive on the road trip last week against the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning, they weren't able to pull out a win.
However, tonight, against the first-place Boston Bruins, they were able to pull out a win in front of a sold-out crowd.
"I think we limited our mistakes tonight, we capitalized on theirs and I think that was huge for us," head coach Luke Richardson said. "We had all four lines going, all the defense going, and both goalies going. We had everybody going for this win. I think the work ethic has been consistent all year, and we have some good chemistry right now."

RADDY HATTY

Taylor Raddysh upped his goal total to 20 tonight thanks to his first career hat trick. This is his first season surpassing the 20-goal mark, and his first passing 19 since playing with Tampa Bay's AHL affiliate in 2019-20.
He is currently on a four game point streak with seven points in the last four games.
"Just like for any game, we were going to come ready to play and just bring our best and we did that today," Raddysh said. "Every night we feel like we need to bring effort like that, we're gonna get it and we just want to continue to keep growing. And keep doing that."

BORIS AND JOEY BURY GOALS

Boris Katchouk also tallied a goal, giving him four points in three games. He assisted one of Raddysh's goals as well as Joey Anderson's goal. Anderson now has two goals and two assists since joining the Blackhawks.
"I've just found some good chemistry with my linemates," Anderson said. "And I think we've gotten better every game, and tonight was just more of that. It's a good building blockm and just keep trying to keep it as we go forward."

HARD WORK PAYS OFF

After a tough road trip in which the Blackhawks remained competitive but couldn't quite pull it off, it was rewarding for the team to keep battling back despite trading goals back and forth with the top-spot Bruins.
"I thought the best thing about our team [tonight was] was just talking about going back and getting pucks behind them [during the second period] and started skating again," Richardson said. "And that's what we did in the third, and we persevered tonight. So we learned some lessons along the way, and given up some leads and then and then persevering in the third period, I think tonight's a good step in the right direction."
