RELEASE: Blackhawks to Host Fan Events in Chicago, Nashville

With the highly coveted first overall draft pick for just the second time in franchise history, the Chicago Blackhawks invite fans to attend free special events in Chicago and Nashville on Wednesday, June 28 as round one of the 2023 NHL Draft takes place. Blackhawks Draft coverage, presented by United Airlines, will also be available across Blackhawks.com, the official Blackhawks mobile app and the team's social media channels.

Blackhawks Watch Party Set to Rock the Salt Shed for the 2023 NHL Draft

The team's official watch party in Chicago, presented by Bud Light, is free and open to the public and promises to be an unforgettable evening for all who attend. Special guest appearances by beloved Blackhawks alumni, along with live music, food & beverage offerings, family-friendly activities, a commemorative rally towel and other giveaways, will kick-off the evening before the historic selection takes place. The evening will conclude with a customized Blackhawks drone light show, courtesy of Sky Elements Drone Shows.

Gates open at 3 p.m., so arrive early to celebrate alongside fellow Blackhawks fans before the official 2023 NHL Draft live viewing party begins:

Nashville Pre-Draft and After-Party Celebration

For fans down in Nashville, the Blackhawks will take over the Skydeck at Assembly Food Hall for a pre-Draft and after-party celebration. Both events will feature giveaways, special guest appearances by Blackhawks alumni, live music and more.

Fans looking to travel to Nashville can receive a 15% discount on flights courtesy of presenting sponsor, United Airlines, with code BLACKHAWKS2023 for flights from O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to Nashville International Airport (BNA) between June 26 and July 1.
