The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Adam Gajan on a two-year, entry-level contract that runs through the 2027-28 season ($1,050,000 salary cap hit).
Gajan, 21, posted career highs in games played (33), wins (19), save percentage (.908), goals-against average (2.25) and shutouts (2) with the University of Minnesota Duluth (NCHC) during the 2025-26 campaign. He was named the NCHC Goaltender of the Month for October and led the Bulldogs to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022. The netminder also competed with the U.S. Collegiate Selects at the 2025 Spengler Cup, logging a 1-1-0 record, a .873 SV% and a 4.03 GAA.
