The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Brandon Hagel (HAY-guhl) from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis.

Hagel paces Rockford with 19 goals and ranks third with 31 points in 59 games.
Chicago hosts the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. That game can be seen on NBCSN, streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app and heard on WGN Radio and in Spanish on WRTO-AM.
