The Blackhawks entered the All-Star break on Wednesday night with a 5-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild on a snowy night in Chicago.
Marc-Andre Fleury started the night and made 25 saves on 30 shots before Collin Delia took over in goal in his second appearance of the season.

After a scoreless first period, Minnesota opened the scoring early in the second in the dying seconds of the game's first power play. Frederick Gaudreau walked in from the point and ripped a slap shot past Marc-Andre Fleury for a 1-0 lead.

2nd - 6:56 - Mats Zuccarello (Jordan Greenway, Brandon Duhaime)

A short time later, Jordan Greenway brought a puck behind the Blackhawks net, spun off a hit from Connor Murphy and then found Mats Zuccarello driving the net in the slot. Zuccarello elevated a one-time shot over the blocker of Marc-Andre Fleury for a 2-0 score.

The Wild made it a 3-0 game off a turnover in the neutral zone as Mats Zuccarello walked into the zone, pulled up and found Kirill Kaprizov in the slot for a quick shot and a three-goal lead before the second intermission.

In the third period, the Wild extended their lead as Kevin Fiala snuck in along the weak side of the rush and was hit with a pass from Matt Boldy to spring a partial breakaway. Fiala slotted a wrister home from the high slot for a 4-0 advantage.

Less than 90 seconds later, Nico Sturm picked up a bouncing loose puck in the slot and put a one-touch shot on goal that rose into the top corner of the cage for a 5-0 lead.
