With their fourth victory of the series against the Winnipeg ICE, three Blackhawks prospects and the Seattle Thunderbirds captured the WHL Championship for the second time in franchise history.

Kevin Korchinski, Nolan Allan and Colton Dach will now look to compete for the team's next title with the Memorial Cup as the three make their first ever appearance in the tournament.

Seattle took a 4-1 lead in the series after a 3-1 win against Winnipeg after Thunderbirds' forward Nico Myatovic produced the game-winning goal during a penalty shot in the third period at 2-0.

Allan recorded his third assist in the series during the team's first goal of the night with teammate Sam Popowich. Through 19 playoff games, the defenseman produced two goals and eight assists for Seattle.

Dach and Korchinski both finished the night as a minus-one and registered one shot on goal. The two also recorded three goals and 11 assists each for the Thunderbirds this postseason.
