As the college season beings to wrap up, seven Blackhawks prospects will represent their respective college in this year's NCAA Ice Hockey Tournament.
The seven will include Frank Nazar (Michigan), Ryan Greene (Boston U.), Drew Commesso (Boston U.), Dominic Basse (St. Cloud St.), Aidan Thompson (Denver), Jake Wise (Ohio State) and Slava Demin (Merrimack). The tournament starts on March 23 at 1 p.m. CT between Boston University and Western Michigan.

HAYES EXTENDS STREAK, SAVOIE PUSHES CAREER NUMBERS

Over in the OHL, Gavin Hayes continues to heat things up as he extended his point streak to five straight games with 12 points (9G, 3A) and recorded his 40th goal of the season. He also has recorded at least one point in 18 of his last 19 games.

Ethan Del Mastro ranks second among all defensemen on the Sarnia Sting in points with 58 points (7G, 51A) through 50 games. Over his last seven contests, he recorded 12 points (1G, 11A).
Samuel Savoie pushed his career high in numbers after producing four points (1G, 3A) in his last four games. He currently has 59 points (26G, 33A) in 57 games this season.

GUST SCORES OT WINNER, PHILP ON THE BOARD

In Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Colorado Eagles, David Gust scored the overtime winning goal to secure his 25th goal of the season. In his last five of six games, he recorded eight points with four goals and four assists.
Luke Philp produced a three game point streak over the week with four points in total with three goals and one assist.
