Jonathan Toews' 16th career overtime goal lifted the Blackhawks to a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday evening in Chicago. The goal extends Toews' point streak to seven games (5G, 2A). Arvid Soderblom made 32 saves on 33 shots for his first career NHL victory. Jason Dickinson tallied his fourth goal and seventh point of the season. Jake McCabe notched an assist on Toews' game-winning goal, giving him points in four of his last five games (1G, 3A). Caleb Jones picked up an assist and has points in five of his last six games (6A). Filip Roos secured his second career NHL point, an assist on Dickinson's second period goal.

VS. WINNIPEG

The Blackhawks went 1-2-0 against the Jets last season. Chicago defeated the Jets 3-1 in Winnipeg on Feb. 14. Patrick Kane posted two points (1G, 1A) in the win. In his career, Kane has 31 points (12G, 19A) and a plus-7 in 20 career games in Winnipeg.

Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is currently riding a seven game point streak (5G, 2A) dating back to Oct. 23 vs. Seattle. The current streak ties the third longest point streak of his career. Toews' seven goals ranks first among all Blackhawks skaters and ninth in the NHL. His nine points (7G, 2A) in eleven games ranks second best on the team.

Blackhawks goaltender Arvid Soderblom recorded his first career NHL victory on Thursday evening vs. Los Angeles. Soderblom has recorded at least 30 saves in each of his three appearances this season. He currently holds a 2.37 GAA and a .935 save percentage.

TINORDI'S BEST HITS

Defenseman Jarred Tinordi racked up a game-high six hits on Thursday night against the Kings. He currently ranks first on the team and second (tied) in the NHL with 45 hits on the season. Tinordi has had at least five hits in three-straight games.
