HOW TO WATCH

Catch all the action with Jason Ross Jr., Colby Cohen and Genna Rose on NBC Sports Chicago with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. John Wiedeman and Colin Fraser have the call on WGN Radio as well.

VS. EDMONTON

Alex DeBrincat has back-to-back two-goal games against the Oilers after he recorded a multi-goal game on Nov. 20 in Edmonton. Kirby Dach registered helpers on both of DeBrincat's markers. He has points in two consecutive games against the Oilers. Connor Murphy paced Chicago with three blocked shots in the loss on Nov. 20. The Blackhawks outhit the Oilers 30-16 earlier this year - one of 12 instances where Chicago has recorded 30 or more hits in a game this season.
Patrick Kane (3G, 3A) has recorded a point in four of his last five games vs. Edmonton. Duncan Keith is scheduled to play in his second game against his former team. The three-time Stanley Cup champion skated in the second-most games (1192) in team history and won two Norris Trophies as a member of the Blackhawks.

OUT OF THE BREAK

Chicago will play its first game in exactly a week coming off the All-Star break. The team held a full practice in Chicago before departing for Alberta on Tuesday.
Edmonton opened their post-break slate on Tuesday night at home with a 4-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. The loss snapped a six-game unbeaten streak the Oilers were on prior to the pause.

INJURY NEWS

The Blackhawks will still be without Jonathan Toews (concussion protocol), Jujhar Khaira (lower back), Riley Stillman (left shoulder) and Kevin Lankinen (right hand) to start the road trip as all four remain back in Chicago.
Both Tyler Johnson (neck) and Reese Johnson (right clavicle) remain out, but are on track to return later this month or in early March.
