HOME SWEET HOME

Chicago has a 1-0-0 record at home so far this season, defeating the St. Louis Blues, 4-2, on Oct. 6. The Blackhawks have posted 36 points at home each of the last three seasons. Forward Connor Bedard paced the team in goals (17), assists (15) and points (32) at United Center in 2025-26. Tyler Bertuzzi notched 23 points (12G, 11A) in home tilts last season. Over his last six games at United Center, the Sudbury, Ont. native has logged six points (3G, 3A). Of his career-high 12 goals last season, center Ryan Greene hit twine nine times on home ice. That includes three tallies over his last four games at United Center.

BLOCK PARTY

The Blackhawks have notched double-digit blocks in each of the club's first five games of the season, including 10 in Thursday night's game against the Islanders. This is the fourth time in the last five seasons that Chicago has produced double-digit blocks in five straight games to open the season. Chicago has totaled 55 blocked shots, averaging 11.00 per game. Wyatt Kaiser (8) and Ian Cole (7) pace the team in blocks, with each having at least one blocked shot in every game so far this season. The club blocked 1,020 shots in 2025-26, led by Alex Vlasic's 119.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

The Blackhawks entered the 2026-27 season with the youngest opening-night roster in the NHL (26.4). Seventeen of the Blackhawks' 26 points (65.4%) this season have come from players 25-or-younger.
