The Blackhawks look to get their playoff hopes back on track with a crucial three-game trip through California, beginning against the Ducks in Anaheim on Wednesday night. Chicago (26-28-9) lost two games this past weekend to Colorado and Dallas, teams the club is chasing for a Wild Card spot. Anaheim (24-30-9) is even further back with just 57 points in the standings, four fewer than Chicago's 61.

Patrick Kane continues to pace Chicago in scoring with 93 points (39G, 54A) in 62 games. He saw his point streak of 20 games snapped versus Dallas.
Jonathan Toews continues his productive 2018-19 and now has 29 goals and 35 assists for a total of 64 points in 63 games. Alex DeBrincat is third on the team in points with 62 and second in goals with 34 in 63 appearances.
In net, Corey Crawford will start his first game since Dec. 16. The goalie has missed time due to a concussion but has been cleared to return and will play at least one game on this road trip, per Head Coach Jeremy Colliton. Crawford has a 3.28 GAA and .902 save percentage in 23 starts this season.
With Crawford being activated off injured reserve on Monday and Collin Delia being re-assigned to Rockford, Cam Ward is the other goalie left on the roster and has a .893 SV% and 3.71 GAA in 29 games this season.
The Ducks have lost three in a row to Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, dropping them toward the back of the Western Conference pack. They were blanked 4-0 by the Canucks on Monday in their last outing. Their game versus Chicago is their first of three straight at home.
Ryan Getzlaf is the clubhouse leader in points with 39 (11G, 28A) in 54 games. Adam Henrique is second with 32 (12G, 20A) in 63 games. Jakob Silfverberg leads them in goals with 16 in 54 games.
In net, the Ducks situation has been a bit of a revolving door with four goalies seeing time this season. Rookie Kevin Boyle has been the most recent starter and has gone 1-3-0 with a 2.17 GAA and .928 SV%.
SEASON SERIES:
This is the third and final meeting of 2018-19 between these two clubs. Chicago has split the previous two, winning 3-1 at home on Oct. 23 and losing 4-2 in Anaheim on Dec. 5.
Brandon Saad has scored two goals versus the Ducks so far this season.
LINEUP NOTES:
Crawford has been confirmed as the starter for Chicago.

OPPONENT TO WATCH:
Brendan Guhle was acquired by the Ducks from the Buffalo Sabres ahead of the NHL Trade Deadline. The 2015 second-round pick made his Anaheim debut versus Vancouver and fired five shots on net and played 18:15.
The Ducks would, of course, like the defenseman to develop into a good player for them. In addition to Guhle, the Ducks received a first-round pick in exchange for Brandon Montour.
