It was a banner night for the Blackhawks offense, potting five first-period goals and eight total on the night in a 8-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks at the United Center.
Patrick Kane set a career mark with six points on the night (1G, 5A) and Dylan Strome logged his second career hat trick with a four-point game (3G, 1A). Alex DeBrincat (1G, 3A), Brandon Hagel (1G, 1A) and Jake McCabe (2A) all logged multi-point games in the win as well. Marc-Andre Fleury made 29 stops in the win, his 18th of the season.
Chicago's goal total tied a season mark for most goals in a game, but was the first without an empty-net tally among the total (Jan. 26 at DET, Feb. 25 vs. NJ).
