"I think we've had some really good looks in the offensive zone at times," Richardson said. "We worked on [it] a little bit yesterday, and had some video and talked about it, maybe we just have to get a little bit more urgent in just executing, you get one and breaks it open."

The Blackhawks have only scored 27 goals on the power play this season, despite having numerous opportunities. Th last time they were able to successfully tally a goal on the power play last came on Jan. 28th in the team's 7-3 loss to the Oilers.

OFFENSIVE SUCCESS

Patrick Kane enters tonight on a two-game goal streak, thanks to a hat trick and an assist against Toronto and two goals against Ottawa.
"It was great to see him score the way he scored the last few games, because he's had some looks over the course of the season and I know he's been frustrated," Richardson said. "It's great to see him play with that confidence and a little bit of swagger out there."
As well, Max Domi is on a three-game point streak with three assists.
