Dallas Stars defense prospect Miro Heiskanenis playing again after missing the start of the season due to a concussion, and he looked impressive.

Heiskanen, the Dallas first-round pick (third overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft, played his first game for HIFK in Finland's top league on Thursday, logging 26:47 of ice time and registering six shots on goal. In Game 2 on Saturday, he tallied the winning goal, added one assist and had five shots on goal in 23:06 of ice time. His goal came early in the second when he took the puck from the right boards, weaved his way through the defense and roofed a shot from the bottom of the right circle to snap a 1-1 tie.
Heiskanen was injured in a Champions Hockey League game in early September. The injury forced him to miss the NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City and Dallas Stars training camp. He missed the first 11 games of HIFK's season.

LW Jason Robertson (2nd round/2017) is off to a good start with Kingston of the Ontario Hockey League, scoring five goals in his first six games. Robertson, who has scored a goal in four of the six games, also has an assist and has 36 shots on goal.

C Jacob Peterson (5th round/2017) is off to a productive start in Swedish juniors, registering nine points (four goals, five assists) in nine games. He also made his Swedish Hockey League debut, playing one game with Frolunda and picking up no points in 1:42 of playing time.

G Jake Oettinger (1st round/2017) has won his first two starts of the season with Boston University. Oettinger, a sophomore, stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 4-1 win over Union in the season opener, and then turned away 22 of 24 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory over Quinnipiac on Sunday.

G Colton Point(5th round/2016) is off to an impressive start with Colgate, where he is the No. 1 goaltender this season. The sophomore has posted a 2-0-1 record with a 1.30 goals against average and .960 save percentage in his first three starts. Point has stopped 97 of 101 shots.
